UXDuty has a simple two-level structure: an organisation (your company) contains projects (one per product, brand or website you scan). People are added at the organisation level and given access to one or more projects from there.
Roles
- Admin - can invite people, manage billing, generate API keys, and edit any project. Usually the person who set the account up.
- Member - can run scans and read results in projects they've been added to. Cannot invite others.
- External - read-only access to a single project. Useful for agencies, auditors, or stakeholders who only need to see the report.
Inviting someone
- Open Team in the sidebar.
- Click Invite person and enter their email address.
- Choose a role - Admin, Member or External.
- If they're a Member or External, choose which project(s) they can see.
They'll get an email invite. The link is single-use and expires after seven days.
Sharing a single scan with someone outside the team
If you only need to send one scan to one person - say, the regulator or an external consultant - generate a share link from the scan's settings. Share links are read-only, expire after a date you choose, and can be revoked at any time. They never give access to anything beyond that single scan.
Removing access
Removing someone is immediate - their session ends within a few seconds and they can't sign back in. Any scans they ran are kept. If you need to permanently delete somebody's data, contact us and we'll handle it inside our retention windows.
